    Interesting article, but the headline is misleading. They did not "reverse" any damage to the kidneys. They say they "reversed the pathology." What they did was to prevent kidney damage from ceramides.

    I've had CKD (3A) for about seven years. I've got zero risk factors, so I don't know what caused it. My levels have been flat for the whole time, so it was probably caused by AKI that I wasn't aware of.
