This tweet claims that it is suspicious that a bot ran by someone who makes an ai-to-ai messaging app would propose an ai-to-ai messaging app, but that is exactly what I would expect to happen. Does not seem to be evidence of any fakery.
I think the point here is the bot didn’t come up with the idea on its own, but was seeded by a human with an entrenched interest / experience in that space. The PR around Moltbook has been that Agents are coming up with these ideas through some sort of swarm interaction with each other, and developing novel, emergent capabilities — which is not true.

This guy⁽¹⁾ claims ”Over night Henry [his ClawdBot] got a phone number from Twilio, connected the ChatGPT voice API, and waited for me to wake up to call me … He now won't stop calling me”
Pretty sure there are some hoops to jump through before you can get a phone number from Twilio...
Does "fake" here mean "real"?
Yep, that it's AAI.
The entirety of it is fake.
What would be the alternative? Seriously, someone believes the model somehow provisioned a ghost vps and decided to participate, long term, on discussions on the web?
My god
The point of Moltbook is that OpenClaw human owners installed skills to participate in Moltbook, not that the bots decided to do that on their own. There’s no denying that it’s stupid and fake though.
Unfortunately there are a lot of people believing this, that is sad.
